Booker has nearly twenty years experience RESEARCHING, WRITING, PRODUCING and DIRECTING story-driven content and digital experiences focused on music, youth, innovation, sports, geopolitics and world culture. He has created co-stories about politicians, war criminals, terrorists, spies, gangsters, entrepreneurs, historians, activists, athletes, child soldiers, refugees, rappers, DJs – and everyday folks. Other experience includes equitable, inspirational branded-content and PR strategy, music tech & startup entrepreneurship, screenwriting, VR and interactive production.
Booker has access to a vast network of freelancers around the world, and has experience in over 40 countries, including numerous war zones. Docs have aired prime time on CTV, CBC, Al Jazeera and Fuse, and screened at NXNE, Slamdance, VIFF, the New York Hip-Hop Film Festival and Pop Montreal. His interactive works have won at the Cannes Lions, the FWAs, the OneShow, the D&ADs, the Awwwards, the Banff World Media Festival — and been nominated at the Canadian Screen Awards.
